Universal Events Cornwall started at Newquay pride in 2023, after some conversations with the LGBTQ+ community, Sophie realised that there was a need for LGBTQ+ and inclusive events in the local area. Soon after that, Universal Events Cornwall was born.

Then on, Universal Events Cornwall has grown into a small team of individuals. Each supporting the creation of inclusive, events, shows and workshops in Cornwall.
Everything from Drag and Burlesque workshops to Drag Queen Bingo. From cosy intimate venues to full blown shows on stages across Cornwall.
And more, Universal Events Cornwall embrace all new ideas and endeavour to help create events that the community want to see and be involved with. Community grown, community supported, inclusive events for everyone.
Who belongs to the Universal Events Cornwall community?
Who is the Universal Events Cornwall community? Everyone and anyone who has joined in at a workshop, show or event is welcome to join in with creating more events and helping our community flourish.
Furthermore, our community team is made up of individuals from various backgrounds, neurotypes, gender identities, sexualities, disabilities and life experiences. We believe that a diverse community provides better education on each others differences, which should be embraced and not shied away from. Sharing each others passions is what makes Universal Events Cornwall a safe place to grow with each other. While making it incredibly fun!
